Cascade by Motionhouse

Cascade is a stunning outdoor spectacle of dance and flying that celebrates the eternal optimism of human spirit in the face of disaster. Set on a submerged house, amidst rising flood waters, a family scrambles to keep their heads above water and their feet on dry land. The result is a thrilling and enthralling adventure with the dancers balancing, sliding and tumbling through the air.

Motionhouse, under the direction of Kevin Finnan and Louise Richards, has led the way for UK dance companies to develop successful work for outdoor festivals, creating remarkable dance theatre, fusing images, action and dynamism to surprise, challenge and delight. Cascade follows in the footsteps of their acclaimed Without Walls commission Underground.
