Free Seminar: Access and Audience Development for Outdoor Arts
13 February 2020
Chamber Space, Elliot House, Manchester 2 pm - 5 pm
Are you working in the Outdoor Arts and would like a better understanding of how to engage disabled audiences?
Join Without Walls in Manchester on Thursday 20th February, 2 – 5 pm for a free seminar that explores how we can better engage disabled audiences and audiences with access requirements in the Outdoor Arts through audience development.
We’ve invited experts from within the Without Walls network to share their experiences and offer a practical guide for incorporating access into audience development programmes. Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A with the speakers and you will have the opportunity to share your own experiences in an open discussion on engaging disabled audiences within the context of your own festival.
Speakers:
- Irene Segura – International Relations & Artist Development, XTRAX
- Kat Boon, Project Manager at Big Feast, Appetite
- Alex Covell, Engagement & Access Producer at FESTIVAL.ORG
The session is aimed at anyone working in the Outdoor Art and festival sector such as producers, arts marketing and engagement professionals. Places are limited and offered on a first-come-first-serve basis.
