Man Down

by Fuse Theatre

Physical Theatre

A portrait image of two men. One of them has the other's head in an arm lock, and there are trees in the background.

A Man Down is a raw, high-energy outdoor performance exploring the catastrophic impact of toxic masculinity.

Combining visceral movement, Visual Vernacular and live beatboxing, our performers push themselves to breaking point as strength, control and vulnerability collide in public space. Gritty, physical and emotionally charged, the piece asks what happens when masculinity becomes performance – and what’s left when the mask finally slips.
