Drop me if you Dare

by Joli Vyann

Circus, Dance, Theatre

We see a male performer lifting a female performer in the air while stood on a beach with the sea and a blue sky background.

Can we be strong whilst relaxed? Heavy whilst light, grounded whilst levitated, submissive whilst in control, a mixture of strength and weakness, can we be dropped into the air?

Drop Me if you Dare is about the sensitivity and connection between two people, which brings about compatible contradictions.

Humanity emerges and acrobatic prowess speaks between bodies. In a mixture of abandonment and accountability, this piece is sensitive, where bodies just fit together.

Music is an original composition by Nao Masuda.
