Edge of the Sacred
by Akshay Sharma
Dance

You might find yourself wondering; What’s happening? Are they playing, caring for one another, fighting or dancing?
In this playful duet, two men of colour move through a world of touch, rhythm and closeness, where tenderness and roughness sit side by side. The piece gently explores masculinity, intimacy and what it means for affection to exist in public space.
