Tell Me is a captivating contemporary circus and dance show that reimagines the narrative around HIV in today’s world. Combining breathtaking performances on Chinese Poles and Aerial Cubes, the show creates a hypnotising visual spectacle as we are shown the journey of a woman navigating her diagnosis.

Tell Me confronts stigma with honesty and grace, weaving poignant storytelling with inspiring physical artistry from this 3 person cast of internationally acclaimed circus, dance and theatre artists. A powerful and engaging production that invites audiences to reflect, empathise, and challenge outdated perceptions, offering a hopeful and empowering vision of living with HIV.

About Sadiq Ali

Sadiq Ali is a queer circus performer, theatre maker, and cabaret artist of mixed heritage, working in the UK and internationally. Born and raised in Edinburgh, he trained at the National Centre for Circus Arts. His debut show, The Chosen Haram, is a dynamic exploration of faith, sexuality, and addiction, blending circus artistry with compelling storytelling and was praised by critics and audiences alike as “beautiful and breathtaking,” for its candid and intense visual portrayal of complex themes.

Ali’s work is recognised for its emotional depth and innovative use of circus techniques to convey powerful narratives.
