About SAY

SAY was born from Sarah Golding and Yukiko Masui’s ambition to challenge the elitist norm that often lies in the contemporary dance sector and to rediscover the innocence in creativity that can sometimes get lost through formal training. Sarah and Yuki have toured extensively in in their own respect, the album is their first project together as a dance duo.

Through SAY, Sarah Golding and Yukiko Masui celebrate the joy and innocence of making up dances, reaching new audiences by setting contemporary dance to underground music.

Working closely with exciting new music artists, beatboxing and live percussion, SAY’s ambition is to bring the unique and infectious energy found in music gigs into the dance world and leave audiences feeling hyped-up and inspired.

the album is Sarah and Yuki’s own gig, bringing together an explosive mix of everything that inspires them: great music, personal stories, and artistic collaborations with a range of exciting new voices.
