Urban Playground

The Urban Playground is the world’s first and only specifically constructed Parkour stage.

This series of modular platforms are designed to subvert any architecture it encounters making every performance original. Urban Playground performance explores the relationship between the human body and the (built) environment through a choreography drawing in the principles of Parkour and combining them with the performers’ backgrounds in contemporary dance, breaking and capoeira.

Prodigal Theatre is a multiple Award Winning physical theatre & performance-parkour company, taking audiences from intimate in-the-round storytelling through site-specific reworkings of classic texts and out on to the street for the wordless drama of dance at speed and height.
