The Great Yiddish Parade

JW3

Music/Sound

The Great Yiddish Parade brings together a Klezmer big band, singers, and street theatre. Using public participation, it takes the issues of immigrant social protests of the Victorian East End, in one huge marching, musical creation.

The Great Yiddish Parade sings songs in Yiddish, a language used by Jewish people in central and eastern Europe before the Holocaust, that has seen a revival around the world.
