Blueprint R&D Update

Since 2018, Without Walls has proudly delivered the Blueprint R&D programme, supporting artists and companies in exploring early-stage ideas, taking creative risks, and pushing the boundaries of outdoor arts. Over the past six years, the programme has surpassed our expectations.

Typically, we announce the opportunity to apply for Blueprint R&D support each autumn. However, this year, we have made the decision to delay the next call for applications until 2025. As Blueprint has grown rapidly, we want to take the necessary time to ensure it remains sustainable and adaptable for the next five years.

We understand that this may cause some concern for artists and creatives in the outdoor arts sector. However, this pause is essential for us to ensure that Blueprint continues to serve our artists’ needs and fosters the creation of exceptional outdoor work beyond our annual cycle.

We look forward to sharing more information about the future of Blueprint R&D early next year.
