An organisation coalescing and catalysing creativity within the community of Newquay and further afield in Cornwall.
Priority principles of Groundswell include equitability of engagement, tenacious partnership-building, can-do ambition, cross-pollination across sectors and an advocacy for the presence of those ‘not in the room’ or ‘not round the table’.
Why we joined Without Walls

What's happening at Groundswell
Future plans and projects include You Are Here – a Cornwall-wide community project where place, people and poetry collide with an outdoor performance; the development of a local cultural calendar (especially with regard to creative-sector-led festivals) and leadership of a cultural consortium comprising of partners across business, the public sector and social enterprise.
Groundswell is spearheaded by Freelance Creative Director/Producer, Dicky Souray.
